Tereza Roux is the Founder of Virtual Wine Concierge, a bespoke wine service company established in 2014. A certified wine professional with credentials from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), Tereza brings over two decades of experience in the wine and spirits industry to her work. As a sommelier, culture curator, and self-proclaimed foodie with a wine glass, she is passionate about crafting memorable and personalized wine experiences for her clients, whether they’re individuals, resorts, restaurants, or corporate teams.
Tereza began her hospitality career as a sommelier believing “buy local to create global”. Her focus began in BC wines, spirits, beer and cider as well as international wines with a sustainable footprint. As BC became internationally known, she specialized in vintage and cult wines, enjoying cultivating relationships with these companies and curating a list to enhance your business and the guest
Through the Virtual Wine Concierge brand Tereza offers a range of in-person and virtual services, from beverage consultation and education to bespoke events tailored to both private and business needs. Tereza collaborates with clubs, resorts, and restaurants to create engaging events and elevate guest experiences, always ensuring her work aligns with her client’s unique visions. Her extensive background includes working in hotels, high-end restaurants, exclusive private venues, and corporate events, showcasing her versatility and ability to adapt to diverse settings and audiences.
